Ang sang jo rab hai saade eho sada sakka ey;
Sare rishtedaraan vichchon eho rishta pakka ey. Eho sada masjid mandar haj kaahba te makka ey; Eho sada maal khajana eho paisa takka ey. Jinhan ne rab yaad na rakhya khali oh vichare gye; Kahe avtar oh pandhi sare khoj khoj vich mare gye. |

God who is always with us, is our real relative;
Amongst all relatives, only this relationship is stable. For us God is the mosque and the temple, God is the pilgrimage, Kaba, and God is the Mecca; For us God is the treasure of wealth and God is the money. Those who did not remember God, poor fellows went empty handed; Avtar says, they were all such travelers who lost their lives only in search of the destination. |
Meaning
God is the only true relationship that we have. God who is always with us, is our real relative. Amongst all relatives, only this relationship is stable. For us God is the mosque and the temple, God is the pilgrimage, Kaba, and God is the Mecca. For us God is the treasure of wealth and God is the money. Those who did not remember God, they went empty handed. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, they are like travelers who lose their lives only in search of the destination.
